A Brief Interlude in Manhattan

Excuse the delay in posts lately. I'd like to draw your attention to another project that's been consuming my time, THE BLOCK — the complete history of a single block on the Lower East Side -- Eldridge between Rivington and Stanton, to be exact. Weeks of painstaking research culminate in a detailed, animated look at eight generations of buildings on a single street.

Please check it out!

Fantastic idea. Thanks for your hard work. I used to live at 11 Stanton and so this was a real joy to discover. Enjoyed clicking through your Re-Brooklyn project as well. Bravo!

It's fantastic!!! I loved that neighborhood in the 80's/early 90's. And it was a pleasure digging through re-Brooklyn, too. Big, big fan.
