Vacation on Staten Island #5: Ann Street and Port Richmond Avenue

Most of the stores on this stretch of Port Richmond Ave are shut down, although most of them look like they were recently open. This store hasn't changed much in seventy-five years.

Cutting through the photo in the later view is the North Shore line of the Staten Island Railway.

I really enjoyed your collection of photo's. I particularly enjoyed the those in which the old photos included cars. It helped to set the time period and made the comparison that much more interesting.
